About this site
TollDisputeHelp exists because of a simple observation: the toll dispute process works — fees really do get waived, advocates really do intervene — but almost nobody knows the process exists until they've already overpaid. The information was scattered across agency websites, buried in FAQ pages, or locked inside collection letters designed to make you pay first and ask questions never.
This site was built by people who went through the toll-fee process themselves — the missed bills, the multiplying violation notices, the advocate submissions, the collector letters — and came out the other side having paid the tolls and not most of the fees. It is deliberately anonymous: no names, no personal stories, no case studies. The process is the point, and the process is public.
What this site is — and isn't
- It is general information: how toll billing, violations, advocate reviews, and debt validation work, in plain English, plus free letter templates.
- It is not a law firm, a credit-repair company, a negotiation service, or affiliated with any toll agency, E-ZPass, or collection company. Nobody here will handle your dispute for you or contact an agency on your behalf.
- Nothing here is legal advice. If your situation involves a court judgment, a registration or license hold with a large balance, or an actual lawsuit, talk to a consumer attorney in your state.
Agency programs and addresses change. The guides describe the process as it generally works; before you send anything, confirm the current mailing address and procedure on the notice you received or the agency's official website.
Privacy
Privacy here is architectural, not a promise:
- The letter generator stores nothing. It runs entirely in your browser, on your device. The information you type is never uploaded, transmitted, saved to any server, or written to any database — there is no server component and no account system. If you close the tab, the data is gone.
- No accounts, no sign-ups, no email capture. Nothing on this site asks you to register.
- No trackers. This site ships with no analytics scripts, no advertising cookies, and no third-party embeds. If advertising is added later to keep the site running, this page will be updated to say so plainly, and the generator will still store nothing.
- What your browser does on its own — standard web-server logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) — is the same as any static website and is not used to build profiles or shared for marketing.
Contact
Corrections and suggestions about the guides are welcome at hello@example.com (placeholder address — contact details will be updated when the site launches on its real domain). Please don't send account numbers, violation documents, or other personal toll records — we can't act on individual cases, and we'd rather you keep your documents private.
Start where you are: if a letter just arrived, the letter generator is the fastest useful step. If you're not sure who is even billing you, the guides will sort it out.
